I am a teacher and author with a degree in English and Education Studies, a Masters in SEN and inclusive education awaiting results, and dyslexia. My specialism is dyslexia and have several dyslexia related courses under my belt. I am also researching for a PhD. As a dyslexic student myself I understand the importance of modeling academic success in the long term self-efficacy of students with disabilities. I did my masters research on dyslexic students and what can hold them back and can be a little geeky about this. Because of the expense to students of buying my details I will offer the first 2 hours at half price in an attempt to make up for that.

Tutoring Experience:
I have been tutoring in one way or another since I left school in 2003. My 1st degree is in English and Education Studies, I am awaiting results for a Masters degree in SEN and Inclusive Education, I have begun research for my PhD and I am a trained Aim Higher Mentor, as well as having various dyslexia certifications. I have a current Criminal Records Bureau check (now disclosures and barring) which I will present for your inspection and peace of mind. With all of my students I offer discounted rates for block bookings paid in one go (10% off for blocks of 10), though I do recommend a few single lessons first, to make sure that I am right for the student. There is nothing worse than feeling locked in to a tutor who is not right for you.
