I am able to teach Maths and Biology up to and including GCSE level, and Psychology up to and including A-level. I am a mature undergraduate Psychology student at Sussex, hoping to work in education after my degree. Having struggled with my education as a teenager, I have a great appreciation of the value of education and the importance of treating each student as an individual. My approach is conscientious and thoughtful, employing psychological knowledge to design engaging tutoring strategies. I am passionate about making learning accessible for students with a range of needs and abilities, and am confident working with students on the Autism Spectrum.
Availability: I am available on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings, Wednesday morning every other week, Thursday and Friday afternoons, all evenings, and any time on Saturdays.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
At my college students took a mixture of GCSEs and A-levels; as an A-level student, I helped tutor some GCSE Maths and Psychology students. I also have experience volunteering with the Princes Trust, where I helped young people to attain Functional Skills level Maths and English.
