I am a native Japanese speaker from Tokyo and have lived in the UK for the past 25 years. I am a holder of the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language which meas that not only do I have extensive knowledge of Japanese language, but also I am specifically trained to teach non-Japanese learners. My original background is in graphic design but I travelled around New Zealand and Australia before coming to the UK. Through my travel, I met people from many different countries and greatly enjoyed the experience. I live in Kings Norton which is in the south side of Birmingham.

Tutoring Experience:
I taught my son Japanese single handedly from home without outside help and he got A* for both Japanese GCSE and A level. I am currently taking on adults and students. Some adults have business connections with Japan, some students are studying for GCSE. Some students want to be interpreters, some people are preparing for a holiday in Japan. The level of my students range from beginners to upper-intermediate. I have also taught/overseen a group of children who learnt Japanese language and culture. I have also tutored several school children in New Zealand.
