I'm 25 years old and currently a student at Teesside University in Middlesbrough. Since a young age I've been very passionate about languages, and speak three at native level; English, Dutch and French.
I have lived a significant portion of my life in Belgium and thus have +10 years experience of being taught these languages in school. Aside from languages I also have an interest in history, which I am studying away from my native country.
An experience that has so far not let me down! I would say that - as a person - I am calm, confident and patient. I'm not someone to shy away from work, or questions anyone might have and do my utmost to assure the material is easily understood, and grasped.
Availability: Weekday evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
As someone who has spent the majority of her life among native French, Dutch, and later English, speakers, I speak all three languages at a native level, with a native accent.
I can do anything from simple conversations to business letters and presentations, as well as book reports and of course, reading and listening. Personally, I think think this is a plus over other tutors as it adds a realistic element to the tutoring service I provide. For example, it enables me to pick up on small, but important, nuances that might otherwise be glossed over.
As a history tutor, I am also knowledgeable in all areas relevant to primary school through to A-levels. Due to studying the subject at university, I have a good grasp at what teachers expect, especially at A-level.
