I am a recent Neuroscience graduate (1st Class Hons) from the University of Oxford and am currently applying for Clinical Psychology conversion masters programmes, with the eventual aim of completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I love to learn, and my curiosity for the human body and mind has motivated me in my studies. I hope that through tutoring I can transfer my enthusiasm for science to other students, and help them to reach their full potential. Whilst at university, I was part of a Scientific Journal club where students met to discuss and present recently published papers. This enabled me, alongside my educational background, to develop my ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, understandable and manageable way. I am friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. I have volunteered at a number of summer camps, and love working with children. I am diligent and well-organised and am able to strike the right balance between working hard and being friendly, as I believe students are best able to learn when there is mutual respect. In the first meeting, I discuss the student’s needs with them and create structured lesson plans tailored to them. I typically set my own problem sheets, though am happy to help students with their own homework or exercises. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or queries you may have!
