My Information

Hi, my name is Geoff I am a consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. My specialist area is in facial deformity and facial trauma. I have devoted 20 years of my life to studying and education. I have degrees in both Dentistry, Medicine and I am completing a Masters degree from the University of Oxford. I ‘m dyslexic, although it has not been easy, it hasn’t stopped me from being where I am now. I believe that through hard work, determination and having a supportive family can get you where you want to be. I have a passion for teaching and will gladly tutor anyone who is willing to learn. I am able to provide advice and study skills on the following subjects: Biology, Medicine, UCAS applications, exam preparation and interview techniques for medical school entry.

Availability: Most evenings mid week

Tutoring Experience:

My job includes teaching doctors and dentists at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. Not only do I teach the clinical and surgical skills but also human factors, teamwork and communication. I have a post-graduate qualification in Education specifically at aimed for Doctors. I am an examiner for one of the Royal Surgical Colleges and at the Medical school. I have also interviewed sixth form students applying to medical school.
