Approximate standard rates are:
GCSE: £30.00 if travelling to tutee; £40 - for 1.5h; £25 for 1h online £35 for 1.5h if tutee is coming
A-Level: If travelling to tutee - £35.00 for 1h; £45 for 1.5 hours; If tutee is coming to me or online - £30 for 1h; £40 for 1.h
Adult Learner: £35.00 for 1h; 45 for 1.5 hours
Degree: £35.00 for 1h; £45 for 1.5h More, depending on the subject
Key Stage 3: If travelling to tutee - £25.00 for 1h; 40 for 1.5 hours

I have worked as a university lecturer and private tutor in Mathematics for more than 25 years. I have experience in a broad range of educational systems - USA, UK, Bulgaria.I have worked as educational expert in Bulgarian Parliament and have helped introducing the equivalent of A-level exams in Bulgarian educational system. I offer quality tuition in Maths for the new GCSE and A-level curriculum with tailored sessions best for your needs. I also teach university Maths at bachelor, masters and even PhD level. My latest job was as a lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Leicester. In USA I have been working for five years at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. In Bulgaria, I have been working at Sofia University, Sofia. I have been tutoring students for Mathematics Olympiads, high school and middle school students, university students at all levels: from introductory to advanced. I have bilingual knowledge of English and Russian. I can teach Maths in all three languages: English, Russian and Bulgarian. I am patient and willing to develop individual plan of study for every tutee. I offer total exam preparation as well as particular lessons to clear up some occasional gaps and questions in your knowledge. I can guarantee progress only if the students put their own effort in studying. That is essential. I aim to teach my tutees not only the subject but how to learn on their own and what learning skills are generally required for learning that can be applied to other subjects as well.
