I am American by birth, and well-traveled, having lived in Brazil, France and now the UK. I speak Portuguese and French. Working as a professional artist, creativity and personality always play a strong role in my approach towards individual students, whether I am tutoring in Art, Humanities, or Languages. I encourage independence, critical thinking and enjoyment of academics while also adapting and responding to the curriculum or needs of tutees.

Willing to travel: 5 miles
Tutoring Experience:
I have five years experience working as a tutor as well as a primary school teacher. My tutoring has been for children, adolescents and adults, and is always catered towards individual needs and interests. I have extensive experience teaching English as a second language to children, in which I incorporate artistic and everyday activities such as cooking and role-play in order to connect language to real life. I enjoy coming up with unusual and innovative projects and creative challenges for kids in which imagination is paramount. My French and Portuguese tutoring experience has been one-on-one and in after-school homework clubs and tutoring schools, focused on A-levels and GCSE support and training.
