I Finished my Mathematics Enhanced programme for teaching GCSE, NIECE-Institute of Education, 2014, London. QTLS, Institute for Learning, , 2012, London (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) I completed my ADTLLS (Additional Diploma in Mathematics) at University of Greenwich, 2012, London. Also I have my DTLLS/PGCE (Diploma for teaching in the lifelong learning sector) completed at the Institute of Education in July 2010, where I was studying theories of learning, specialist pedagogies and varieties of assessment, as well as gaining further teaching practice experience and feedback. I joined this course to gain the full British post-compulsory teaching qualification and learn more about the English educational system. I also hold Ecuadorian teaching qualifications as a general primary school teacher and as a secondary school teacher specialising in maths and physics.

I have three years’ experience teaching Functional Skills numeracy at pre-entry level (along with life skills) and ICT (Information Technology) at Hackney Community College, teaching Mathematics, Functional Skills ICT, Mathematics and Electrical Installations and Spanish for families. At The Learning Trust Hackney teaching Mathematics and Spanish for families (parents and Children). At the Elfrida Society in Islington (this was a voluntary position to gain experience) and two years’ experience as a Functional Skills Maths and ICT teacher at Capel Manor College Crystal Palace (this was my teaching placement for my DTLLS). Additionally I have 20 years’ experience as a primary and secondary school teacher in Ecuador and two years’ as a university lecturer in Maths and Physics at Babahoyo University, Ecuador. All of this experience has given me the confidence to deal with a diversity of teaching groups and situations.
