My name is Dimitris, I am a professional musician and I have a BMus (Hons) in Music Performance and Production from London Centre of Contemporary Music and many years of experience and knowledge from conservatoirs, choirs, bands and the music industry. I love to share those with my students and show them the way to achieve their goals! All levels and ages are welcome! If you (or your child) want to improve your singing technique, experiment with vocal styles, prepare for an audition, be a better performer, learn about music theory, learn how to play the guitar, need advice about how to navigate the music industry, or just want to have some fun, lessons will be tailored to meet the student's needs and will be a combination of the following areas: Breathing, Freeing your voice, Extending vocal range, Eliminating breaks, Transition between chest and head voice, Developing mix voice, Dynamics, Repertoire, Performance, Microphone technique, Music business advice, Songwriting advice, Recording, Music theory, Sight singing, Ear training. Lessons can be enriched further with guitar lessons for beginners, for the students to be able to accompany themselves when singing. Short biography: Dimitris was born in Thessaloniki, Greece.
He studied music from a young age, first as a guitarist in the Conservatoire of Northern Greece and later as a vocalist in the Conservatoire of Kalamaria, the State Conservatoire of Greece and Macedonian Conservatoire of Thessaloniki. In 2007, he joined the Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki, expanding his classical repertoire as a baritone/tenor singer, singing in noumerous concerts and operas in Greece and abroad. The same year he formed his own band A Kapela as a singer, guitarist and songwriter, with which he made an EP, won awards in music competitions and toured. Both projects ran until 2011 when he moved to London for further studies, where he started performing with his function band Jukebox among others. In 2014 he finished his BMus with Honours in Music Performance and Production in London Centre of Contemporary Music.
