I am currently French language assistant (volunteering) in St Brendan's Sixth Form College (Bristol). I help students to improve their French level quickly and efficiently. I work in collaboration with the teacher, take her instructions and provide her with feedback on the students’ performance or progress. I deliver quality teaching and learning to students from all cultural and religious backgrounds. My lessons are customised to each student’s individual needs, and are designed to be fun and interactive. I work in a comfortable and relaxed environment. I adapt my lessons according to their level. They are able to hold a conversation and as a result they feel more confident. Learning a language can be tough, especially French with all its rules, exceptions and spelling! For this reason, I give clear explanations with simple words. I am an excellent communicator, an enthusiastic classroom practitioner who encourages students of all abilities to achieve fantastic results. I am patient, flexible, and motivational. I have a great understanding in how to keep them engaged during their lessons. Passionate about this profession, I seek continuous improvement. I have a positive mindset and I always do my very best for students. I am able to maximise their potential, in recognising that every student is unique and learns in different ways.
