My Information

I am an experienced (more than 15 years) University academic and GPhC registered Pharmacist working as a private tutor in the medical and biological sciences. I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy with a postgraduate higher education teaching qualification. I have a PhD in experimental cancer research and have published widely on the subject.

 I have also published text books in the area of cancer chemotherapy and general pharmacology. I enjoy working freelance to provide quality face to face (Manchester only) and online (Skype) tuition covering the biological sciences (especially pharmacology, cell biology, pathology and general physiology) and the more specialist clinical subjects which you might come across on pharmacy, medicine and nursing degree courses. 

I can offer one to one tutoring in these subjects as well as focused help with assignments, dissertations, exam preparation (degree modules and pharmacy professional), OSCEs and interview preparation too. I can also proof read your work and give you guidance on your research project up to PhD level.

Availability: I am available online days, evenings and weekends. I prefer online but willing to travel within Greater Manchester for groups of more than one student.

I am about to start training as a secondary biology teacher to gain QTS. I will be able to teach GCSE/A Level at a reduced rate.
