I am a bright, friendly, smiley person and I am passionate about English - books, language, grammar, creative writing, poetry, plays, the way people speak and articulate themselves. I am interested in languages and the way languages work, and how language (written or spoken) makes us feel a certain way.
I like reading and analysing texts and I like doing this with students as opinions often differ! I believe I speak, write, instruct and explain clearly. I am able to help children and adults who have English as a first, second or third language. References are available on request - I am yet to ask my students or their parents for testimonials.
Availability: I am available 7 days a week, but have several private students at the moment, so my availability depends on them. The earlier or later you are able to have a session with me, the better.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Tutoring Experience:
I am CELTA qualified and especially looking for experience in that field, so if you are an adult who needs help with any part of English, please do get in touch. I have experience running an ESOL conversation class, as well as helping children and adults in Thailand and China with their English.
I have been tutoring KS2, KS3 and GCSE English (Literature and Language) for nearly a year, in tuition centres and privately.
