Hello, My name is Charlotte, or Charlie, and I am a Double First B.A. (Hons) English graduate from Pembroke College, University of Cambridge (2015). After a year working in the Cambridge University Students' Union, I will be studying for a MSc in International Public Policy at University College London from September 2016. I have excellent oral and written skills, demonstrated not only by my academic record, but also by my work with TEDx - delivering speeches at TEDxBrighton and TEDxCambridge University. I love working with young people, and have been involved in several tutoring and mentoring programmes over my time at Cambridge. I look forward to the opportunity to develop this further, and spread my love of English. Please feel free to contact me.
Availability: I am free from the 1st September to work evenings between 4 - 7.30pm Monday - Friday, with optional weekend sessions.
Willing to travel: 4 miles
Tutoring Experience:
When I was Head Girl at Thomas Bennett Community College in 2011 - 2012, I tutored three girls in Year 9 and 10 with their GCSE English qualifications for five months. I met them on a weekly basis. At University, I tutored a 16-year old boy through his AS Level English. I did this for three hours a week. I also read and edited undergraduate essays.
