About Meliha

I am a fully qualified German language teacher and have worked as a German and English language private tutor for over ten years. I have previously been a primary school German and English teacher for several years, and obtained a Masters degree in social science from a university in Germany and Denmark afterwards. I have taught at various academic levels (GCSE to University) and I am also capable of teaching business German. I tailor my teaching style according to the needs of each student.

I believe the key to success is to build each student’s interest and provide them with the confidence to converse. Helping children with education is my passion and I want to share the excitement of language learning! I teach German. All levels from primary / secondary school to university / business. I have a BA in German Language and Literature, a BA in English Language and Literature and a Masters degree in ‘European Studies’ (i.e. international relations). My basic fee is £40.00 for a one hour lesson (60 minutes).

In case I visit your home for the private classes, I charge a standard adult train ticket from New Malden to your place. I teach mostly at my home, but I am willing to travel if it is more convenient for you. If requested, I am equipped to teach via Skype. I teach pupils upwards from the age of 6 (i.e including adults).

Availability: Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 20:00.
