My name is Sahil. I studied Mathematics at university and I have been working in the teaching profession for 3 years. This includes completing my PGCE teacher training. My main hobbies outside of work are long-distance running including 5 km, 10 km and half marathons as well as playing the guitar. When teaching lessons, I aim to show students how Mathematics is related to real life and facilitate students’ learning through using diagrams to model the subject. Additionally, I like to use creative and practical resources where possible to build variety into my lessons. Above all, I enjoy adding value to the Mathematics education of both secondary school and further education students and seeing them grow in their confidence and skill in the subject.
