I am a graduate of American Studies and Politics: People and Power BA (Hons) with a 2:1 from the University of Worcester. I also have recently achieved a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education [PCE] which means I am qualified to teach College students and Adult Learners. During my training I taught Government and Politics (AS and A2) as well as Sociology (AS, A2 and some Access to HE Courses).
Since 2013, I have been a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming [NLP], which helps me find ways to teach that suits you. It is primarily used for life-skills coaching and counselling, but is invaluable for training and tutoring students. If you need help, but have little time to learn, then my NLP skills will make it quicker and easier for you to get the education you want.
Since I finished my PGCE course, I have decided to embark on training to become a University Lecturer and will learn Contemporary Sociology at the University of Leicester this Autumn (2015), with the hope to join a Graduate Teaching Assistantship or Graduate Research Assistantship. I believe this dedication to academia and education will help make me a better teacher and overall person.
