I am a 28 year old post-doctoral research associate at the university of Bristol. I gained a first class undergraduate degree in Genetics, then a PhD in developmental Neuroscience at 25. I strongly believe that the crucial component contributing towards academic success is gaining a real understanding of how things work, rather than superficially memorising information.

Through my PhD and Post-doc I have worked with undergraduate students in one on one teaching environments, as well as contributing to tutorials and doing great science outreach to both high school students, and adults.
