I am Zaheem and I have been teaching for two years at a college. I have taught both GCSE and A Level Maths. I have taught the optional modules as well as the core. I have taught both foundation and higher GCSE. My students range from 14 to 50 and have a great rapport with them and can see the passion I uphold for this subject. I have always been into Mathematics and from a young age, would play, manipulate and test new functions and play with the concepts of calculus. I love to solve problems and was taught Operational Research from the age of 14, I divulged and as I got further into my studies the more my hunger became. I enjoyed it to the point I began providing my knowledge to others. I began tutoring from the age of 17, after I completed my GCSEs, I wanted to help those who were attaining their grades, I had to develop a patience and a further understanding. For my years at University, I was also working with several Secondary schools offering after school maths lessons. Due to my age and knowledge the students connected with me. My range of activities provided them with a sense of learn and play. I am a very visual learner, however, I accept my learners may not be and structure my lessons around my learners rather than myself. I enjoy both teaching and tutoring, it is a way for me to pass my knowledge and hopefully show the beauty of mathematics, I see.
