I am a recent graduate of the University of Manchester (BA Hebrew and German Studies- 1st class) who has a passion for Hebrew and is eager to teach the language to other enthusiastic learners.
My outstanding achievements in Hebrew-related modules were rewarded the Centre for Jewish Studies (the BLES Hebrew prizes).
I have spent one year in Israel, studying at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. By the end of my residence abroad I had obtained an average result of 92/100 with 90 or more in all 12 courses in which I had been officially enrolled.
I have passed the Ptor Exam (Hebrew exemption exam- C2 equivalent) with an overall of 93/100.
Availability: Up to 15 hours/ week- mostly evenings and at weekends.

Tutoring Experience:
Having been a PASS (peer assisted study sessions) leader for Modern Hebrew for two years, I began teaching ever since my second year of study. In an weekly Hebrew class, I facilitated the study of other younger students, whose exam results improved considerably after taking part in these sessions.
