Tutoring Experience:
An email below was from one of my current students - I have been teaching this pupil for 3 weeks, and I offer him 2 hours Chemistry lesson per week. Last Tuesday his parents wanted me to give him 1 hour lesson in Physics for his following day exam.
After just 1 hour lesson, he has achieved grade B from Grade D. ------------------ Dear Dr Ray, I greatly appreciate for taking the time and effort for the productive lesson on Tuesday. I received 26/41 in my Physics Test and it was a 41 minute test in total (Our teacher said the lesson beforehand that the test was 1 hour long). (Equivalent to 63% - B Grade), and I received the full 5 marks on the graph question which was very similar to the question that you gave me! Thank you for Tuesday's lesson.
Although I found that I did make quite a few careless errors in my exam paper, I felt that it was a highly productive lesson and I have already seen great progress as I found that the time that you went through with me with those questions was extremely beneficial for me. I have got my Physics Exam Paper with me at home so you can see it tomorrow if necessary. See you tomorrow at 14:00 pm, Take Care, Best Regards, ***
