My Information

I have always been passionate about Mathematics. I find the subject very interesting and believe that anyone with the right attitude and guidance can succeed in it. I got 10A*s and 1A in my GCSES with an A* in Maths. I went on to study Maths, Accounting and Economics at A Levels achieving the grades A*AA with an A in Maths. So I hold a firm grasp of the subject and because of my prior teaching experience and passionate attitude towards teaching I believe I am well-equipped to teach this subject. Currently I am a second year Finance and Accounting student at the University of Nottingham. I am the Course Representative for my course and also serve as the Teacher`s Assistant for some of the modules.

Tutoring Experience:

During my A Levels I taught GCSE Maths to my siblings as well as their friends in small groups. With the passage of time I saw their results improve as they gradually improved their concepts and overcame their difficulties. I feel that every student is on a different level so different teaching strategies need to be developed according to the student`s needs and demands. With the right mindset and consistent hard work anyone can do well in Maths. I have an enthusiastic, determined and friendly personality. I hope to create an interactive and engaging learning experience for all my students and always motivate them to succeed.
