My Information

Recently retired from a senior position in the Edinburgh College of Art, School of Architecture - now merged with the University of Edinburgh. Although I don't miss the administration workload, I do miss the teaching. Student feedback on my teaching was very good and I believe that my knowledge, guidance and support can make a difference. I found that it was a privilege to be a tutor which also kept alive my interest and appetite for the subject.

Tutoring Experience:

30 years experience in tutoring architecture and urban design. Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Senior Lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art served on management boards, international exchanges and as acting head. Coordinator for the Diploma/Masters in Architecture. Visiting professor to the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen and the the Rhode Island School of Design, USA.
