Christopher has worked as a fashion tutor within prestigious institutions including Liverpool John Moores and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, for the past 6 years. He has taught students of all ages from high school to higher education and beyond. As a private fashion tutor Christopher works with students both online and in person, "My tailored lessons are devised to deliver what my students require, but my main focus is to extract each students instinctive talents and build a strong body of work. Tutoring Experience:

I have taught Fashion both in person and online over the past 10 years, my experience at Central Saint Martins has allowed me to teach internationally working with students from culturally diverse backgrounds and different levels of English skills. Teaching such a broad range of students has finely tuned my teaching techniques making them perfect for online teaching. I teach a variety of skills including Drawing/mark making, fashion illustration, collage, fashion design, textile creation and pattern cutting/draping for mens and womenswear.

I can take you through the full process of building a fashion collection from ideas generation and inspiration sourcing, colour and fabric development and finally the design process and garment making. My methods for garment or accessory making are some what like a live youtube tutorial. I will walk you through the process of pattern cutting and construction by making the garment right along with you. We will take a step by step walk through the full garment creation process and this will be personalised to your skill set from Basic to intermediate level. 

By the end of the tutorial schedule you will have a fully constructed garment and the skills to make your own garments. This method is used for all the aforementioned subjects The first tutorial together would be to establish what you want to achieve from your lessons together and what level you are currently at. I will use this information to prepare a lesson schedule and materials list. Each lesson will evolve based on you and how your learning proceeds.
