About Ned
I am a 3rd-year student in Maths & Philosophy at LMH, University of Oxford. I was granted a scholarship for academic performance in the first two years (1st class) and have qualified for a master's programme at Oxford in my subjects. I have had experience teaching students of many different abilities and ages. I find it very rewarding to help students reach their potential, and will put plenty of energy into making this happen. I have had experience teaching students of many different abilities and ages. I find it very rewarding to help students reach their potential, and will put plenty of energy into making this happen. I live in Brighton and London (WC2) and am happy to arrange tuition in both. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, hiking, and reading books on Chinese history.

My Testimonials
Name of the person who provided this testimonial: Zoe
Ned helped me immensely when I was doing my GCSEs and A Levels. One of the things that most helped was the fact that he could think of many different examples to aid me in understanding a topic or problem. In the subjects he was not doing himself, he was still able to be of help by suggesting different techniques of revision. Often he would ask me to explain something to him, and during my explanation would ask questions, which in turn showed me where I had gaps in my knowledge or what I no longer needed to work on. He is a very passionate and hard-working student himself, which has the effect of motivating those he helps to be the best they possibly can.
