Tutoring Experience:
I have eight years' teaching experience in Film Studies, Visual Culture and English Literature at tertiary level. As an early career researcher I have held fixed-term lectureships and teaching fellowships at Lancaster University, Newcastle University, Queen's University Belfast, and University of Aberdeen. I have also examined CCEA's Moving Image Arts A-Level (very similar to A-Level Film Studies in England). I have consistently received highly positive student feedback, and have a particular strength in demonstrating to students through constructive criticism how to improve their work and become excellent independent learners.
