I have been working in Science for the past 28 years, 20 of those as a Science and Maths teacher. I am passionate that all young people are able to access the wonder of Science and, more recently Maths, through learning and understanding how it is relevant to their everyday life. I enjoy researching studies on pupil learning and adapting/designing projects with the curriculum so that all pupils have the opportunity to access concepts in a more realistic and applicable environment.

I have currently been interested in 'Evidenced Based Teaching' and have used many of its ideas within my most recent work. I am a qualified Science Teacher with 20 years experience working in a variety of education settings. I enjoy working at all levels and can work with individual students to provide a learning plan that will address your needs and interests, making the experience both enjoyable and relevant.
