I am an MSc Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde in my final year of studies. My secondary education has a strong background in maths, physics, chemistry and Biology. My current academic interests include engineering, energy systems, sustainability and the built environment. I am a junior member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. I Have previously tutored pupils with ADSD in mathematics, successfully helping them attain the desired grades. Learning myself how to study with dylexia I have a good understanding and the experience to assist those facing similar learning difficulties. I also have extensive teaching experience working as a ski instructor at all levels with both children and adults. I take a calm and relaxing approach to teaching and look for ways to make the learning process enjoyable. I would not say I have a specific teaching style but prefer to find out what style works best for the individual, what holds their attention and what techniques help an individual retain information.
