I currently work in an established Lancashire law firm having graduated in History from Queen Mary, University of London in 2014.
I took a particularly wide ranging degree including the following courses: An Age of Revolution (1750-1820) The Crusades (1095-1291) From Tsars to Bolsheviks - Russia 1801-1921 Stalinism History of British Raj - India 1757-1947 History of Western Political Thought Cabinet and Premiership - Central Government 1945 - 2014
Whilst the degree was wide ranging, I also showed an eye for detailed, in-depth study highlighted in a a well received 15,000 word thesis on Elizabethan religious divisions.
Outside of academia I am passionate about cooking and journalism having set up a food blog and becoming a section editor of my University newspaper. I am also a keen rugby and cricket player.
