My most recent role was as Assistant Headteacher with six years experience teaching science in a secondary state school. Most recently I have taught GCSE Physics. The pupils that I taught achieved outstanding results, with the cohort in 2017 achieving 100% A*-C, 84% A*-B and 64% A*-A. The recent cohort have achieved similar results, with all pupils achieving grades 9-4. I believe that all pupils deserve an outstanding education that leads to lives of choice and opportunity. I am committed to teaching exciting lessons that engage all pupils and I ensure that I tailor my approach to meet the varied needs of everyone I teach. My teaching is supported by strong, consistent behaviour management. I have a A levels in Maths, Physics and History (all grade A) and a masters degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering (MEng) from the University of Bristol. Outside of the classroom, I have coached football teams and led Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions.
