Tutoring Experience:

 Tutored 7+ and 11+ students, as well as teaching Maths and English to ks1, ks2 and practiced phonics with the younger children. This included playing educational games with the younger children. For the older children there was a different style of learning, this included providing them with exam questions and practice questions, , by checking the answers and giving relevant feedback to help them succeed. First Clas learning Did tutoring with kids teaching from the age of 4 – 12, helping them with the SATS and revision for their 11+ exams. Again, this included marking their work and constantly checking to see if they needed any additional help. Edgware Junior School Assistant: My duties included helping to prepare year 5 children for their end of year exams. I had one to one and small group sessions with them during their lesson time in order to boost them to a higher level. In addition to developing academic ability, the students were provided with guidance on how to do independent learning so they can take the learning into their own hands. I particularly enjoyed working with the individuals and seeing them develop to higher grades in their writing tasks.
