My Information

I am a former teaching, who still heavily involved in the education sector. I love Geography and am well-travelled, so love to bring my personal experience into learning.

 I am passionate about inspiring young people to see their true potential, and as a Youth Coach, I am committed to raising confidence and aspirations of the people that I work with. 

I have been selected to be part of a fellowship this summer to train teachers in Nepal that are working in schools with limited resources. 

My creativity and flexible approach have meant that I have a range of adaptable teaching techniques, which is one of the reasons I was selected for the fellowship. I have a love of learning and believe that learning should not just be able meeting the syllabus requirements for the exam board. I am patient with all my pupils and will adapt tutor sessions to meet the needs of the learner.

 I am flexible regarding the content that the learner would like to go through, and I can bring resources to each session. 

An A-level student I tutored last academic year went from a B grade to achieving 100% on one her papers!

Availability: I am now freelance so I am flexible on days and times.

Tutoring Experience:

Former Head of Geography at an 'Outstanding' school in East London. I have been graded an 'Outstanding' for my teaching practice. I was a teacher in mainstream education for 7 years and have taught in Australia as well as England. My teacher training was at the no.1 training provider in the world, Institute of Education.

I have a deep understanding of a range of exam boards, and have designed curriculum in the schools I have worked in. I have taught many exam classes and students of all abilities, including SEN pupils.
