I have been teaching in sixth form education for 7 years. I was recently selected as the only F.E. teacher to hold a 21st Century learning teacher-research fellowship in the UK (2013-2014) to carry out a research project to improve vocational teaching and learning. I am currently reading my PhD at Queen Mary, University of London in Film Studies. I have presented at several conferences across the globe and have teaching packs, academic papers, and reviews published in the UK, Denmark and Australia.
I chair an interdisciplinary, international research group called 'Holocaust, Contemporary Genocide, Popular Culture and Digital Technologies'. I am currently developing several books about film and working on an educational research project, related to Holocaust education and technology. I have been responsible for turning under-achieving academic and vocational courses into highly successful ones. I have previously worked as a producer, director and editor on a number of short films and music video productions.
I have worked as a freelance Holocaust educator for two years. My specialism include: Film Studies, Media Studies (vocational and academic) and Holocaust Studies. I have also tutored English for several years, particularly Literature, and can provide help with essay writing in all Humanities subjects.
