I am currently undertaking a PhD at Imperial College London in Electrical Engineering where I am researching solar power systems. Not only do I have an expert knowledge of science and maths I also have a passion for teaching the subjects I love and I would relish the opportunity help others achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience:

Whilst at university I led a volunteering programme aimed at encouraging children to become creators rather than consumers of technology, through a variety of technology-based workshops in schools. As project leader, I was not only responsible for planning and running workshops but also training over 40 committed volunteers. This has given me experience in lesson planning and in communicating complex scientific concepts to students of a variety of ages and abilities in a way that is both informative and engaging. I have also acted as a student mentor for several years and have experience in training others in exam preparation.
