My Information

I am a friendly but demanding classroom teacher and private tutor with a fund of real-life stories to bring science to life! I start from where the student is and find their learning style. Then we can approach the concepts and vocabulary in a way that is relevant and targeted. I use online and paper-based exercises to reinforce the essential core knowledge. Past paper practice is essential but not sufficient to succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

My tutoring is questioning, methodical and supportive so that the student can achieve their true potential. It is based on more than 10 years of classroom practice in both the state and private sectors and seven years of one-to-one science tutoring from Y7 to A-level (all sciences up to GCSE and biology to A-level).
