  • Lesson information: As far as times and dates I do group lessons on request for up to four people and I charge £22 per person for 1.5hrs. This is a discount to my normal rate as there are more people and I want to give the option to people who want something a bit cheaper. The lesson is usually like most of my tutoring lessons ie. firstly we address any particular problems or issues the group wants to address then we move onto either a selected topic or exam practice depending on which the tutee desires. I usually call a break for 5 mins half way through the 1.5hr lesson to grab a drink and to stop brains from fying
About Alexa

I am a friendly personable tutor and I reaslly love science. I don't really believe in standard teaching methods as I always found them a bit lacking. I am currently working within the scientific community which means I know exactly how the scientific grounding at school and undergraduate level is put into use, aka how super awesome science is.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently studying for a PhD in Radiobiology at Oxford University and have been tutoring A level and GCSE students in Biology since 2009. I specialise in A level biology in particular A level Biology exam technique and maximising marks. My area of research is cellular signalling, DNA repair and Cancer so I can also tutor these to an undergraduate level
