I am an outgoing individual, highly motivated and focussed on achieving my goals. Prior to entering teaching i spent 20 years in the plumbers merchant industry. Here I worked in IT, Training, and implementation of systems and procedures. I also spent 3 years working within Mergers and acquisitions. I entered teaching through redundancy. I decided to re train and bring real life work experiences to the classroom, which i successfully did working within offender learning. Now I am doing the same whilst educating children within a challenging PRU environment. I also undertake NVQ assessing in customer service, team leading, business admin and management.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 5 years teaching experience. I have taught adult males within the offender learning system and i am currently teaching 14-16year olds within a pupil referral unit setting. I have taught IT up to level 3 and functional skills to level 2 from entry entry level. I can breakdown learning barriers and make my students engage and achieve the highest possible result from our time together.
