About me: Jill studied flute with Paul Edmund-Davies & Simon Channing at the Royal College of Music in London, during which time she was awarded the Allen John Warren prize, was winner of the prestigious Eve Kisch flute prize and also won scholarships from the Foundation for Sports and the Arts & L’Institut Musical de Provence.

She made her professional debut as Solo Flautist with Paris Chamber Winds, performing alongside artists from Orchestre National de France, Ensemble Intercontemporaine & Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, She has since performed in festivals around Europe and the Middle East, & as a chamber musician has collaborated with soloists from many international orchestras as well as pianist Alexander Lonquich. She has performed under the baton of distinguished conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Andrew Litton, Martyn Brabbins and Jan Latham-Koenig, and has participated in master classes with Sir James Galway, Jeanne Baxtresser, Trevor Wye & Cecilie Loken.

In 2009 Jill was invited to perform as Solo Flute with FMKV in Bergen, Norway, for their spring & summer seasons, and was also featured as a soloist (on both flute & piccolo) on several occasions.

She has recently returned from Asia where she freelanced with orchestras in Hong Kong and Macau.
