My Information

I am an associate professor in Sport and Exercise Science and a University Teaching Fellows. I have several years experience as a University lecturer and with a proven track record in helping students achieve their personal aims.

I have an in depth understanding of the assessment processes involved in UK the higher education system through my years of experience as a lecturer and external examiner.

I am passionate about Sport Science and in particular the teaching and learning of this subject. I have a keen interest on the integration of E-learning into Education programmes and in particularly Higher Education provision to enhance the student experience and help increase engagement in the subject area and linked student achievement.

These interests form part of my work towards my Doctorate in 'Educational Development in Sports and Exercise Science'. I also have several years experience as a football coach working with children of many ages home and abroad, and several years experience as a fitness leader and personal trainer.

I have also been involved with the GP Referral schemes. These experiences have given me valuable industry experience that adds to my teaching practice.

Availability: I prefer to tutor online or via email. I am available online most nights of the week and some early mornings for online tutoring. In person I have limited availability, but I am happy to discuss options if this is your preferred option.
