I love learning! I am a focused academician with substantial experience in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in the knowledge based sectors, and am always keen in applying my knowledge to the real business world. I hold a PhD in Strategy, Enterprise, and Innovation from the University of Portsmouth, UK and an MBA with specialisation in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from Kingston University, UK. My principal research interests lie in innovation and development of new customer-oriented services and exploitation of entrepreneurial opportunities in the knowledge intensive industries. I participate as a speaker in international conferences, and am leading several research projects, which are funded by Governments and University institutions. I am the co-author of four books on entrepreneurship, data analytics, innovation and excellence-driven sustainability, social-ecological innovation, and customer-driven innovation. My main academic contributions relate to Innovation and Enterprise Excellence, Organizational Sustainability and Growth, Coopetition and Entrepreneurship. Tutoring Experience: I have considerable tutoring experience in several higher education institutions.
I have taught a wide variety of courses, from the undergraduate through doctorate levels. At the graduate level, I have taught Strategic Marketing, International Marketing, Human Resources Management and Organizational Behaviour, Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Personal and Professional Development. Undergraduate courses include many of the Management courses, such as Principles of Management, Marketing Management, Services Marketing Management, and Human Resources Management. I have served on numerous Masters and Ph.D. committees. I also give seminars and PhD lectures in Innovation and Knowledge Management, Customer Driven Innovation, and Strategic Marketing.
I use computers for demonstration and e-learning purposes in many courses. All courses make use of the World Wide Web for informational purposes and some distribution of class materials. In real analysis classes, I have also used interactive Web-based instruction. Finally, I use several online tools for distance learning, such as VLE, Blackboard, Moodle, Adobe Connect, Polycom, and Slideshare.
Teaching and tutoring sessions usually take place through Adobe Connect, and can be recorded for future reference.
