My Information

I worked for the majority of my life as a retail pharmacist. I took my B. Pharm. (Hons) degree in 1976. A degree in Pharmacy is a degree that includes organic, physical and analytical chemistry, pharmacology and human biology.

I am very solidly grounded in the study of the sciencesI am patient and able to break down barriers and develop rapport which enables me to form easy and appropriate relationships.

I understand the needs of individuals and am experienced at working, as a one to one tutor or with small groups helping people of all ages, from diverse backgrounds.

Furthermore, I am able to put complex ideas into everyday language and to make the passing of knowledge interesting. I am confident that I can help those students who may need extra individual input.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Tutoring Experience:

I have been working for the last year as a private home tutor teaching physics, biology and chemistry to GCSE and biology and chemistry to A Level.

I have enjoyed great success with all of my students while helping my tutees to share my enthusiasm for these subjects.
