I am a studious and meticulous individual when it comes to perfecting my tutoring technique, which I feel has been optimised throughout the past couple of years. I believe I have an approachable and relaxed demeanour that lends itself to a rapport to be constructively built between myself and the students I have tutored and mentored. I have acquired a Master of Biochemistry degree from the University of Oxford and a Master of Research in Structural Molecular Biology from Imperial College London. My approach to tutoring is to first ask the students what topics they find most frightening, which reflect their biggest weaknesses, and then I try to present it to them in a refreshingly different manner with diagrams and reasoning. I like to tie together themes they are more certain about with those they have difficulty with, so as to form a widely applicable and consistent theme in the topics, which makes understanding and remembering easier.

Tutoring Experience:
I have extensive experience as a private tutor for the past two and a half years, giving tuition mostly in Biology and Chemistry at GCSE, iGCSE and A-Level, and GCSE Maths and iGCSE Physics, as well as U.S. Grade 11 Chemistry. My tuition mostly involved helping with exam technique, revision and more regularly help with homework and catching up on material covered in school. I have also tutored Biology and Chemistry in preparation for the 13+ Westminster Challenge, and Chemistry for 16+ entrance tests; as well having also tutored in university-level topics in drug design. I have worked as a tutor/mentor for Oxbridge university applicants, where I prepared students for the Oxbridge university interviews by giving them tutorials in lateral thinking and interview technique, and mock interviews in a variety of science subjects. The students with whom I gave tutorials in chemistry, lateral thinking and interview technique both were successful in their applications to study Chemistry at Oxford University. An Oxford applicant for Biochemistry that I tutored was given a conditional offer from Somerville College, Oxford.
