I am a native Polish speaker and a qualified teacher with a Master’s Degree in English studies (teaching specialisation), with long tutoring experience. I offer one-to-one private tuition sessions in Manchester and online.

I will adjust lessons to your level and individual needs. If you need Polish/English for your business, work or just social interactions, I can help you learn it in an easy and natural way.

I put an emphasis on communication as well as grammar and vocabulary. Of course, the format of our classes is entirely up to you. I teach all ages and all levels. I hope to hear from you soon:)

Dagmara is a qualified Polish teacher with a high-level degree in English. As language teacher, she is very professional, polite, flexible and, of course, very good at teaching. Teaching Polish she focuses on important parts of grammar such as cases, which are one of the most complicated things to learn in such a difficult language. After a few months, I am able to understand and speak basic Polish.

I contacted Dagmara just over a year ago because I was struggling with the pace and impersonal aspect of a university course. I initially only intended to have a few lessons with her so that I could prepare for the next year of the course, but I found I didn't need to go back to the course at all. I've had lessons with other Polish natives before but I found they were of little use to me because they weren't qualified and just trying to make a little extra money on the side. Dagmara, however, is a very professional teacher who assessed my competency herself, and then tailored lessons to my needs (although not necessarily to my wants, she makes me work hard!). Over the past year with her my Polish has gone from a few badly-pronounced words and poor understanding of two of the cases in present tense to being able to hold basic conversations and make myself understood in most situations. I still have a long way to go before I'm fluent, but I have no doubt that Dagmara will get me there if I put the work in myself.
