About Jessica

A professional and committed tutor, I`m committed to explaining subjects in ways that allow students to gain in confidence and enthusiasm for their studies. I feel that every subject can be fascinating for a student as long as it is communicated in a way suitable for the individual’s own interests.

I’m extremely motivated to finding the key to a student’s attention and excitement and to work together to allow them to reach their potential. With have seven years private tutoring experience and as a part-time teacher in Philosophy and Religious Studies at an excellent sixth form college, I am aware of the demands on students. I`m an excellent listener, empathetic, patient and motivated to cater towards each individual.

I`m passionate about learning and knowledge, as well as about the diverse ways to learn and the different directions a subject can be approached from. I believe my suitability for tutoring is much enriched by this, and by my realisation that everything is fun and interesting. My students consistently achieve exceptional results and go on to excellent things, often exceeding the expectations of others. Alongside tutoring/teaching, I run my own successful philosophy of design company and write for the Saatchi Gallery Magazine on the application of psychology to art theory.

My interests extend broadly through Sociology, Literature, Theology and World Religions, Music as well as a great many other things. My experience successfully tutoring individuals to an extremely high standard has led me to grow and develop my skills as a practical, reliable and exuberant guide.

As someone of many interests and capabilities, I offer a comprehensive body of knowledge of subjects, as well as a sensitive, analytical and transformative teaching method. Do contact me, I would love to help.

She is diligent, kind and caring and has helped Cleo achieve three A’s at A Level.” “Gerald’s low self esteem and lack of the foundation required for his re-entrance to British school was turned around by Jessica’s calm, confident and committed approach to teaching. She always went beyond our expectations in terms of preparation, materials and insight. I don’t know what we would have done without her.” “Jessica’s energy and enthusiasm for learning is infectious!“ “I thoroughly recommend Jessica as a tutor.

Jessica has been with us for four years, all of which have been incredibly beneficial. Jessica is insightful, perceptive and highly astute. Her interdisciplinary approach to knowledge and to learning has meant my son has a newfound love of learning. Not only this but he has improved tremendously in all subject areas due to the key learning skills Jessica has imparted.”
