About Lorraine

I have a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology, an MSc in Psychological Research Methods, & have taught in a range of educational settings (nursery, primary, secondary & HE). I have qualifications in TESoL & spent 17 years in Special Education before returning to university. I currently work as an Associate Lecturer in Early Years' Childhood Studies as well as on an Initial Teacher Training programme for nursery teachers.

Tutoring Experience:

I have worked in a range of capacities: on a 1-to-1, with small groups & with larger groups. I have given supervision on Developmental Psychology projects, & led Clinical & Health seminars. Currently, I lecture on Childhood Studies & Teacher Training programmes, giving feedback on academic writing & dissertation support, too.

Due to my background in Special Education, I have tutored literacy skills devt & differentiated materials for accessibility & readability.
