I am a dedicated and supportive teacher and enjoy working with a diverse student group. Over the many years I have taught a range of subjects including one-to-one piano, group piano, teachers' training, music theory, general musicianship, harmony, music analysis. My analytical work has given me in-depth insights into the compositional process. Other qualities, include effective communication and organisational skills, a positive team spirit, and a commitment to quality and achievement. My background and experience offer excellent support to students in their musical development.

Tutoring Experience:

I have an extensive background in music education, performance and research which spans more than two decades in France and England. I was employed at Kensington and Chelsea College (1993-2001) for eight years as an A-level music lecturer and piano teacher, and was later promoted there to music department coordinator. As a PhD research student at Roehampton University, I taught harmony, transcription and arrangement to undergraduate students for three years (1999-2001). I then worked for the City Literary Institute as Head of Music from March 2001 until December 2012. There I taught the Diploma Course for Music Teachers accredited by Trinity College London, the Music Foundation course as well as several other music courses.
